CALL TO WORSHIP

Philippians 2:9-11, "Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place, and gave Him the name above all names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth andunder the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father"God UndefeatableCONFESSIONBut GodASSURANCE OF GRACEWhat a Beautiful NameGreeting Time and Announcements:

Each week we pray for another local church in town because we believe we are not the gospel answer to Flagstaff but that God is using all his Christian churches to redeem the city. This week, however, we prayed for the team leaving Friday for Guatemala to partner with Champions in Action in showing the love of Christ to a group of girls from all around Guatemala City. We prayed for safe traveling, good health while in Guatemala, and that the girls the team comes in contact with would get a glimpse of Jesus and his love as well as grow attached to their mentors. We also prayed for Jono and Katie Duncan. Jono and Katie have been faithful members of our congregation since day 1. They are moving to New York as Jono furthers his education at Columbia. We prayed Jono and Katie would find a church and community they could get plugged into and serve like they have here at Redemption Flagstaff

COMMUNION & RESPONSE

Each week we respond to the truth of God’s word in four ways.

COMMUNION:

On the night that Jesus was arrested He broke bread and drank wine with His disciples symbolizing His body that was broken and the blood that was poured out on the cross. Take some time to remember that Jesus died for the sins of those who would trust in Him.

SINGING:

Give Me JesusOnce and for AllAbsent from Flesh

BENEDICTION

May we, having been blessed by God and called His people, go and be a blessing to the city of Flagstaff, living as first fruits of the Kingdom of God for His glory. Amen.

REFLECTION QUESTION
