CALL TO WORSHIP

This week Lindsay Chance did our call to worship, she talked about the Beatitudes in the Sermon on the Mount. She reminded us that we have all felt poor, powerless, unworthy, lonely, hurt, etc. So she just asked everyone to reflect on the lyrics so our hearts would know they are true. Pray this with us now.

Each week we pray for another local church in town because we believe we are not the gospel answer to Flagstaff but that God is using all his Christian churches to redeem the city. This week we prayed for Calvary Chapel and Pastor Steve, he is going through Surge so we prayed for their leadership. We also prayed for provision in their building situation. On the night that Jesus was arrested he broke bread and drank wine with his disciples symbolizing the body that was broken and the blood that was poured out on the cross. Take the time to remember that Jesus died for the sins of those who would trust in him.
