10.25.15 Redemption Kids

This week we read about Jesus praying in the Garden of Gethsemane. He knew that he would be going to the cross soon, so he asked God to "take this cup" from him and not let him suffer the cross, but he wanted God's will to be done and not his own. It's important for us to remember that God's will is the best and to seek it always.Our memory verse this week is: "And he said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will." - Mark 14:36 ESVOur craft this week was:Decorate a pumpkin to remember that it is God's will that we want to follow.Our family activity this week is: Decorate the "Welcome Friends" poster that was sent home. Put it in front of your house to welcome all your friends to your house for Halloween and share Jesus' love with them.
