Even though Peter told Jesus that he wouldn't deny knowing or following Jesus and that he loved Jesus very much, Peter still denied Jesus three times. When Peter realized what he did, he wept. We are like Peter, denying Jesus even when we don't want to. But when we repent, God forgives us.Our craft this week was:Decorate roosters to remember how Peter denied knowing Jesus three times before the rooster crowed.Our memory verse this week is:

And Peter remembered how Jesus had said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.” And he broke down and wept.Mark 14:72b
