SUNDAY LITURGY RECAP

CALL TO WORSHIP

We read from John 1:14, which says "and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." We saw that the incarnation of Jesus should cause us to shout in glory to God.

Greeting Time and Announcements:

Each week we pray for another local church in town because we believe we are not the gospel answer to Flagstaff but that God is using all his Christian churches to redeem the city. This week we prayed for Indian Bible College, who recently had a preview day where a lot of students came to check out the college. Our prayer was that many students would participate this upcoming year in classes at IBC.

On the night that Jesus was arrested he broke bread and drank wine with his disciples symbolizing the body that was broken and the blood that was poured out on the cross. Take the time to remember that Jesus died for the sins of those who would trust in him.

BENEDICTION

May we, having been blessed by God and called his people, go and be a blessing to the city of Flagstaff, living as first fruits of the Kingdom of God for God’s glory. Amen.
