Changes with Redemption Kids Ministry

Hello Redemption Family, this past Sunday we announced two transitions in our Redemption Kids ministry. For those of you that were unable to worship with us this last weekend I wanted to give a quick recap.Transition 1: Effective immediately we have closed our kids ministry during the 11am service and expanded our availability up to 5th grade during our 9am service. We made this decision for a few reasons:

• We have an ever-growing number of kids joining our community each Sunday. We noticed many of these kids were falling in age demographic we were not setup to serve so we added the extra classroom at the 9am service. Moving forward we will serve 5 separate age ranges: 0-1, 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-11.
• We continue to have a great need for kids volunteers and quite simply it was too difficult to maintain the quality and excellence we expect and desire to provide for our kids while maintaining the 11am kids ministry.
• Removing Redemption Kids from the 11am service will allow us to utilize our volunteer base and facilities more effectively. As our resources and volunteers increase we would love to relaunch our kids ministry at the 11am service.

Transition 2: We have hired a new Redemption Kids Director! I only announced this briefly as she was needed in the classrooms on Sunday but Jess Tenery will be taking over. We are incredibly excited to officially introduce you all to her on September 9th!
