Redemption Kids 11.20.16 - What We Learned

For last weekend, we learned that life is found by believing and following Jesus. We walked through the passage below, in Matthew 7, and talked about the wisdom associated with trusting Jesus' words, following His instructions, and acting upon them.  Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. Matthew 7:24Our prayer for Sunday went like this,

God, You are wise.  Forgive me for not believing and following you. Thank You for being our wisdom and rock.  Please give me wisdom.

Families, as you celebrate Thanksgiving this week, remind yourselves of this truth, that ultimate wisdom only comes from Jesus.  Walk your kids through this thought daily, whether at the dinner table, on the way to school, or getting ready for bed!  Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!
